How to Prepare it!
1.Slice and hull the strawberries.
2.Place the strawberries, corn syrup and salt in a medium saucepan.
3.Place over medium-high heat and stir while heating until the sugar dissolves.
4.Bring the mixture to a gentle boil and simmer for about 10 minutes. Stir frequently and adjust the heat if necessary to prevent the mixture from boiling over.
5.Add in the lemon juice and stir until well combined.
6.Strain the mixture, pressing the liquid from the berries. Discard the pulp or save for another recipe.
7.Cover and refrigerate the syrup until ready to use.
